ELECTROKINETIC ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC CONVERTER AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrokinetic electro-acoustic converter that is made small in size and low in profile without thinning the thickness of a magnet, and also to provide an electronic device with the electrokinetic electro-acoustic converter mounted thereon. SOLUTION: The electrokinetic electro-acoustic converter includes: a first magnetic pole part including a magnet; a second magnetic pole part formed with at least one solid including a magnet, forming a magnetic gap between the second and the first magnetic pole and arranged in a space excluding the space above the upper surface and below the lower surface of the first magnetic pole in such a way that the lower surface of the solid is arranged above the upper surface of the first magnetic pole part; a yoke magnetically connecting the first magnetic pole part to the second magnetic pole part and supporting them; a diaphragm arranged in a space above the upper surface of the first magnetic pole part and in a space below the lower surface of the second magnetic pole part; and a voice coil arranged in the magnetic gap. The magnet of the first magnetic pole part is magnetized in a vibration direction of the diaphragm. The magnet of the second magnetic pole part is magnetized in a direction perpendicular to the vibration direction of the diaphragm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
