PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a technique which enables an aggregation of asbestos-containing substances and other dust in water with the use of an aggregating agent so as to capture them; to prevent re-suspension of dust; and to improve work conditions. SOLUTION: The method comprises taking up asbestos, other dust, and an aggregating agent by suction into water in a water tank with its upper space connected to a suction means and causing aggregation of dust in water using the aggregating agent to capture the dust. As described above, asbestos, other dust, and the aggregating agent are taken up by suction into water in the water tank with its upper space connected to the suction means, so that the dust collected by suction comes into contact with the aggregating agent in water so as to be aggregated and then precipitated. This makes it possible to cause dust to aggregate in water and thus to capture the dust. The dust is thus captured after its aggregation using the aggregation agent, so that a problem such that once removed and captured dust is resuspended in air is addressed and working conditions are improved.
