PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage extraction device capable of appropriately sealing an extraction container when extracting a beverage and of allowing the device itself to be manufactured compactly and inexpensively. SOLUTION: The beverage extraction device comprises a cylinder 23 whose upper face and lower face are opened; a cylinder head 111 disposed on the upper side of the cylinder 23 movably in the vertical direction for sealing the upper surface of the cylinder 23 with the packing 112; a filter block 32 disposed on the lower side of the cylinder 23 movably in the vertical direction for sealing the lower surface of the cylinder 23 with the packing 73; and a cylinder opening/closing mechanism 51 for making the packing 112 of the cylinder head 111 abut to the upper surface of the cylinder 23 by moving the cylinder head 111 downward in extracting the beverage and for making the packing 73 of the filter block 32 abut to the lower surface of the cylinder 23 by moving the filter block 32 upward.
