<p>Fast convergence method and device is used for the communication among automatic systems. The method includes: predefine the routing tables, each item of the routing table including preferred routing information and alternative routing information; when the preferred routing of the routing table is detected in failure, the preferred routing in the table is set unavailable; when a datagram is received, its corresponding routing item in the routing table is queried and the preferred routing status of the item is decided; if the stus is available, the preferred routing is used to forward the datagram, otherwise the alternative routing is used to forward the datagram. The failure detecting is done within 30ms. Therefore, the time that the datagram is switched from preferred routing to alternative routing is within 50 ms and fast convergence is realized.</p> |
