PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing body which enables the smooth opening of a turning lid even if a wall surface of a box body is curved in such a manner as to swell outward. SOLUTION: The packing box includes a fold line 58 as the center of turning is provided at a position to be away by a fixed distance from one end edge 55a of a backside wall, and the lid 52 turning on the fold line 58. A stress relieving buckling deformation area 60 is provided near the central position of the fold line 58 on the backside wall. The backside wall 55 is buckled on a buckling line included in the area 60. Thus, stress generated on the backside wall 55 in the opening of the lid 52 is relieved so that the lid 52 can be smoothly turned and opened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
