PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game progress with a further taste by devising a symbol display on a prescribed reel window in a slot machine. SOLUTION: At a timing T11 slightly before a symbol FG is positioned in an upper limit position, an internal light source 57 alone is blinked with external light source 59 turned off (the left end of Fig.17(a)). Sequentially thereto, at a timing T12, Ps/4 later of a vibration period of Ps of the symbol FG, the internal light source 57 alone is blinked similarly. Then, at a timing T2 when the symbol positioned at the central position of the vibration, the external light source 59 alone is blinked with the internal light source 57 turned off. This method displays as if the translucent symbol FG is deviated from the central position, and an opaque symbol ST is positioned at the central position, so that an outside player views utterly different symbols from the whole symbols viewed when the reels are in a stationary state.
