HIERARCHICAL OVERLAY NETWORK SYSTEM AND DDOS ATTACK TOLERANT METHOD USING THE SAME

A hierarchic overlay network system for guaranteeing the fast and normal transmission of a control traffic and DDoS attack opposing method using the same are provided to guarantee the transmission of the control traffic for the co-operating used in the DDoS attack intercepting process. A join sensing message tightened including its own capacity is broadcasted to a join request node tightened to a neighboring node. Each overlay node receives the discovery message. It transmits in the request node joining a join response message including the information about an overlay network layer. An overlay network layer is determined in reference with the join request message. The request node is unable to receive the response message tightened within the predetermined time. The discovery message tightened is directly delivered to the highest complementary system.
