<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of determining a target temperature value in the temperature control of a fuel cell realizing more efficient operation. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system controlling the temperature of the fuel cell 10 based on a target temperature value is equipped with an IV loss computing means 20 (S12) computing the relation between the fuel cell temperature and loss during the operation of the fuel cell based on the current/voltage of the fuel cell set in each of a plurality of fuel ell temperatures, and a target temperature decision means 20 (S13) deciding the target temperature value based on the relation between the fuel cell temperature and the transmission rate of fuel gas from an anode of the fuel cell to a cathode and the relation between the fuel cell temperature and loss computed with the IV loss computing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
