The tool (10) i.e. pliers (11), has a screwing unit inserted into a counter thread and provided with a threaded shaft. Attachment surfaces are provided on a head (13) of the unit and aligned parallel to a longitudinal extension of the shaft. An engaging unit (19) lies at the attachment surfaces in a clearance free manner in a closed position of the tool to release a screw connection. The engaging unit is designed as an insert detachably arranged in jaws (15, 16) and includes engaging surfaces (20), where dimensions of the engaging surfaces are isometric to the attachment surfaces.
