PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner protecting member having a simple structure which can be manufactured at a low cost without requiring complicated processing and is easily assembled for enabling efficient packing work, and a corner protecting member set.SOLUTION: A corner protecting member which is formed of a rectangular plate-like member having a long side part and a short side part is provided. The corner protecting member includes a first slit and a second slit which each open at the short side parts facing each other and extend in a direction of the long side part. The short side part is bisected by a folding line substantially extending in parallel with the long side part. Each of the first and the second slits has a length that is substantially equal to a half of a length of the short side part or is longer than a half of the length of the short side part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
