Disclosed is a fire preventing hand dryer. The fire preventing hand dryer comprises: a hot wire heater which generates heat of hot wire by supplying electricity; a fan which transmits heat generated in the hot wire heater in one direction; a magnet module which is attached to the inside of the fan; a reed switch which is arranged in the upper end of a motor for driving the fan; and a signal monitoring unit which detects a signal generated in the reed switch in accordance with the rotation of the magnet module, wherein the signal monitoring unit is able to block the power supply of the hot wire heater if the signal generated in the reed switch is not sensed for preset time. |
