The present invention relates to a film counting apparatus. The film counting apparatus comprises: a base on which a film laminate formed by vertically stacking multiple films is disposed; a camera which takes an image of a predetermined shooting plane of the film laminate in a horizontal direction perpendicular to a vertical direction; a light which irradiates light to a predetermined incident plane of the film laminate in the horizontal direction; and a control unit which extracts multiple optical lines from the image received from the camera, computes the number of the extracted optical lines, and computes the number of films from the computed number of the optical lines, wherein the optical lines are formed between the films when the light irradiated to the incident plane exits from the shooting plane through gaps between the films. According to the present invention, the film counting apparatus counts the films not affected by an error in thicknesses or weights of the films by computing the number of the optical lines formed between the films formed when the light passes through the multiple stacked films and computing the number of films from the computed number of the optical lines. |
