PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of estimating depth over all regions, an imaging apparatus and a program.SOLUTION: The image processing system comprises a first acquisition part, a second acquisition part, a first calculation part and a second calculation part. The first acquisition part acquires a full focus image. The second acquisition part acquires a first captured image that is obtained by imaging in the state where a focus distance is set to a first value. The first calculation part uses the full focus image and the first captured image to calculate a first blur radius representing a degree of circularly spreading a group of beams to be converged on an imaging device with respect to pixels which are included in the first captured image. The second calculation part uses the first blur radius to calculate depth indicating a distance between an optical system to be used for imaging and a point at which the group of beams from a target is converged after passing the optical system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
