PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extracting high quality nucleic acids from biological samples.SOLUTION: The invention provides a nucleic acid extract having an RNA Integrity Number of greater than or equal to 5 that is capable of detecting 18S rRNA and 28S rRNA obtained from microvesicles consisting of exosomes and shedding microvesicles from a body fluid having less than 10 mg/ml of a protein derived from a human; an extraction method for high quality nucleic acids comprising extraction enhancement operation; a kit for obtaining nucleic acids from microvesicles, and a method for evaluating the quality of nucleic acid extracts from biological samples.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
