PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoelectric conversion element which has high photoelectric conversion efficiency and excellent durability, a method for manufacturing the same, and a solar cell using the organic photoelectric conversion element.SOLUTION: The organic photoelectric conversion element includes, between a first electrode 12 and a second electrode 13, a photoelectric conversion layer 14 and at least one of a hole transport layer 17 and an electron transport layer 18. The one of the hole transport layer 17 and the electron transport layer 18 contains an organic compound subjected to polymerization treatment in the presence of a metal compound. |
