PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for memory access when a fish-eye image is corrected into a plane image and to reduce the processing time.SOLUTION: A correction apparatus includes: an input image frame memory 41 for storing fish-eye images in accordance with the raster scanning order; a correction information memory 421 for obtaining pixel coordinates of fish-eye image pixels corresponding to pixel coordinates of pixels from the pixel coordinates of the pixels of a plane image, rearranging the pixel coordinates of the pixels of the obtained fish-eye image in accordance with the raster scanning order of the fish-eye image, and previously storing input coordinate order correction data in which the pixel coordinates of the pixels of the fish-eye image and the pixel coordinates of the pixels of the corresponding plane image are associated with each other; a line memory 42 for storing data for a plurality of lines of the raster lines of the fish-eye image; and a correction processing unit 43 for performing the correction processing on a pixel value of the plain image having a pixel value of the fish-eye image in accordance with the raster scanning order of the fish-eye image using pixel values of a plurality of pixels of the fish-eye image inside the line memory and the input coordinate order correction data. |
