An optical repeater system is provided to stably perform a mobile communication service and guarantee quality. A doner unit(20) converts an RF signal received from a base station(100) into an optical signal and transmits it to a remote unit(30). The remote unit(30) converts the received optical signal into an RF signal, and amplifies and provides it to a user. A drive AMP(Amplifier)(22) amplifies the RF signal outputted from an attenuator(21) and outputs it. An E/O converter(23) converts the RF signal outputted from the drive AMP(22) into an optical signal. A PDU(Power Detect Unit)(26) measures a change in the level of an input signal of an optical repeater between the drive AMP(22) and the E/O converter(23), and transmits it to a controller(25).
