Disclosed is a card socket for an electronic device, which can prevent an allophone (noise) due to a movement between parts in the card socket of a tray type. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a card socket for an electronic device comprises: a socket housing having a space in which a tray having a card mounted therein is inserted; a socket cover installed on an upper portion of the socket housing; an ejecting hinge portion hingedly and rotatably coupled to one side of the socket housing, and detaching the tray by pushing the tray to the front thereof during the rotation thereof; an ejecting bar installed on the other side of the socket housing to move forward and backward, and connected to the ejecting hinge portion to rotate the ejecting hinge portion during the forward and backward movements thereof; and a movement preventing portion installed on at least one of the socket housing and the socket cover to prevent movements of the ejecting hinge portion and the ejecting bar. |
