PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a housing or a power conversion element.SOLUTION: Terminals 30 and 40 are separated for such a distance that front ends 30a and 40a keep insulation from a housing 50 while air is clean, and disposed in such a manner that a distance D between the front end 40a and the housing 50 becomes longer than a distance (d) between the front end 30a and the housing 50. Thus, if a foreign substance such as dust is mixed in air between the terminals 30 and 40 and the housing 50, short-circuiting of the terminal 30 and the terminal 40 or generation of a current loop that is circulated in the terminal 30, the terminal 40 and the housing 50 caused by arc discharge can be suppressed. Thus, a power semiconductor element 24 in the housing 50 can be protected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
