PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake water jetting prevention device that prevents the seawater caused by tsunami waves from jetting onto factory premises through an opening of an intake channel provided in the factory, to protect various devices on the premises from submersion.SOLUTION: In an intake water jetting prevention device 10, a travel screen 20 that is provided at an opening O of an intake channel L for water intake from the coast part and removes garbage from the intake water in the intake channel L at the opening O is sealed and shielded on the intake channel L side, and jetting of the intake water through the opening O is prevented. The intake water jetting prevention device 10 includes a shielding body 11 having a pressure-resistant part 11A that is bent in a semi-cylindrical shape to withstand the jetting pressure of the water intake from the intake channel L. |
