PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress turbulence of the braided wire covering a core wire.SOLUTION: A shield wire production apparatus 20 is for forming a cylindrical braided wire 11 covering the outer periphery of a core wire 18 by braiding a plurality of element wires 12. The shield wire production apparatus 20 includes a core wire supply part 50 which can supply a core wire 18 onto a supply passage, a braiding mechanism 30 which can form the braided wire 11 by braiding the element wires 12 in such a cylindrical net form as to cover the outer periphery of the core wire, a braiding die 38 which allows insertion of the braided wire 11 and is provided with an annular inner peripheral surface surrounding the supply passage for the core wire 18, and a core wire restriction part 70 which is arranged in front of the braiding die 38 and can restrict movement of the core wire 18 from three directions perpendicular to the supply passage. |
