PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having superior light extraction efficiency and capable of reducing size.SOLUTION: A display device is configured to include a light emitting element main body, a low-refraction-index layer and a package member. The low-refraction-index layer is formed over a light emitting plane of the light emitting element main body, which is configured by an air gap and has a first refraction-index.
