摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magenta toner for electrostatic charge image development achieving both of good low temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property and having excellent charging property, and a production method of the toner.SOLUTION: The production method of a magenta toner for electrostatic charge image development includes the following steps (1) to (3), and the magenta toner for electrostatic charge image development is obtained by the above method. The steps are: (1) obtaining aggregated particles (1) by aggregating resin particles (A) comprising a crystalline polyester (a), an amorphous polyester (b), and a colorant including C.I.Pigment Red 122 and C.I.Pigment Red 150, and release agent particles comprising a release agent in an aqueous medium; (2) obtaining aggregated particles (2) by adding resin particles (C) comprising an amorphous polyester (c) to the above aggregated particles (1); and (3) obtaining core-shell particles fused with the resin particles (C) by holding the aggregated particles (2) at a temperature equal to or higher than the glass transition point of the amorphous polyester (c) and lower than the melting point of the crystalline polyester (a).
