Disclosed are an application control method and system. The method comprises: establishing, by a first communication terminal and via a registration server, a signaling plane with a second communication terminal by utilizing an obtained media description of a first device, wherein the first device is a control device or a controlled device; and obtaining, by the first device and a second device and via a calling process, media descriptions of the other parties, and establishing a control channel, wherein the second device is a controlled device when the first device is the control device, and the second device is a control device when the first device is the controlled device. |
