<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior light for a vehicle wherein a touch sensor with small area is provided on a back side of a lens, and the whole lens is approximately equally-illuminated with an illuminating lamp by touching the lens with the touch sensor provided on the back side thereof, with a finger or the like, or approaching the lens, thereby obtaining a high luminance value, and wherein a useful life span can be increased by eliminating the use of mechanical structure and a mechanical switch. <P>SOLUTION: The interior light for the vehicle includes a case 1 with the illuminating lamp 4 built-in, the lens 2 mounted in front of the case 1, the touch sensor 5 provided on the back side of the lens 2, and a control circuit composed of a sensor circuit for detecting electrostatic capacitance of a human body, and a switching circuit for switching on and off the illuminating lamp 4 by output from the sensor circuit by touching the vicinity of the lens 2 on which the touch sensor 5 is provided, with a finger or the like or approaching the lens 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
