PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform deceleration control for suppressing a regenerative voltage and stopping in a short time at brake operation time, in a motor control device for washing machine.SOLUTION: Control means 6 executes: speed control for generating a current command value so that motor rotational frequency calculated by rotor position detection means 4a becomes desired command rotational frequency; and vector control for decomposing a motor current of a motor 4 into a current component corresponding to a magnetic flux and a current component corresponding to torque and for controlling so that each becomes a desired value. The speed control consumes regenerative energy generating at deceleration time in a brake operation of the motor 4 as thermal energy in the motor 4 and an inverter circuit 3 by generating a current command value of the current component corresponding to the magnetic flux; thereby, boost of a voltage inputted in the inverter circuit 3 by a regenerative voltage generating at deceleration time is suppressed, the inverter circuit 3 is protected, and also the motor 4 can be stopped in a short time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
