<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen circulation amount control device and a hydrogen circulation amount control method capable of correctly grasping hydrogen circulation amount in a fuel electrode system of a fuel cell system where a ratio of gas composition changes. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen circulation amount control device is composed of a data storing part 2 storing pressure loss property M1 of a gas flow passage of fuel gas circulating through the fuel cell 9 and pressure-flow volume property M2 of a circulation pump 15 circulating the fuel gas in the gas flow passage; a pressure difference detection part 7 detecting pressure difference ▵P between an inlet and an outlet of the circulation pump 15; a rotation number detection part 8 detecting rotation number N of the circulation pump 15; a hydrogen circulation amount calculation part 3 calculating hydrogen circulation amount in the fuel gas by estimating flow volume and density of the fuel gas based on the pressure difference ▵P, the rotation number N, the pressure loss property M1, and the pressure-flow volume property M2; a required hydrogen circulation amount calculation part 4 calculating a required hydrogen circulation amount based on hydrogen consumption amount calculated from output current of the fuel cell 9; a difference calculation part 5 calculating the difference between the hydrogen circulation amount and the required hydrogen circulation amount; and a hydrogen circulation amount correction part 6 correcting the hydrogen circulation amount by correcting the rotation number N of the circulation pump 15 in compliance with the difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
