PURPOSE:To conserve the energy of a machine by cutting off the power source of the machine when a human being is not detected by a human being body detection means for a specified time while the power source of the machine is connected. CONSTITUTION:A main board 200 includes a ROM and a RAM, receives information from the human being body detection means 500 and executes a program so as to perform the off-control of relays 10aM and 10aL being the switching means of a power source unit 10b. By counting how many times an operator approaches the machine, which is detected by the means 500, the number obtained by counting is checked every specified time and the power source of the copying machine is controlled to be automatically cut off when the operator is not detected at all. Thus, the energy of the machine is conserved. |
