PURPOSE:To shorten a stapling time regardless of a direction in which a sheet is sorted. CONSTITUTION:A final copy is detected using a final copy detector 114. If a sheet on which a copy is printed is stored by a sorting pi, the sheet is bound by a stapler driven by a sheet binding means 115. During this process, a neat sheet undergose a copying process and is transported. After the sheet binding process, a sorting pin on a next stage is moved to a sheet binding position by a pin movement means 113. 'The next sheet is immediately stored and bound and thus the sheet is stapled at the same time as it is copy-processed to achieve efficient document preparation. |
