NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (R1, R2 are H, lower alkyl, aryl; A is a dipeptide or tripeptide chain which is formed with naturally occurring aminoacids and has an amide bond with the phosphonoacetyl group in the formula at its amino terminal and a free carboxyl or (substituted amide bond at its carboxyl terminal). EXAMPLE:Phosphonoacetyl-alanyl-proline. USE:Hypotensor. PREPARATION:The condensation reaction of a compound of formula II such as dibenzylphosphononacetic acid with a prescribed peptide derivative whose groups other than alpha-amino group are protected is effected by a known method, then when needed, deprotection is carried out. |
