An apparatus and a method for purifying acid waste water are provided to effectively purify acid waste water containing a heavy metal by using neutralization of basic clinker and absorption of zeolite, thereby effectively purifying waste water without requiring a wide area and equipments. A pre-processing tank(60) includes a clinker layer(61) formed of clinker. A mixing tank(70) includes a pre-processed water inlet(76) connected with the pre-processing tank fluidically, and an acid waste water inlet(81). At least one or more zeolite tanks(20) are connected with the mixing tank fluidically, and include zeolite layers(21) formed of zeolite. Water passing through the pre-processing tank is mixed with acid waste water in the mixing tank and the mixed water passes through the zeolite layers. |
