Windscreen wiper with limited lifting movement of the windscreen wiper arm

The windscreen wiper arm (10) extends longitudinally along a windscreen and is pivoted on a drive head (14) by a pivoting end (12). A transverse axis (A2) is parallel to the plane of the windscreen and enables the arm to be raised from its operating position against the windscreen. The drive head and the arm pivoting end have a pair of complementary surface stops (44,50) which limit the angle of clearance of the arm. The stop surfaces of the head and the arm are formed by two transverse indentation (36) in the head and on the webs (22) of the arm pivoting end. The drive head end (20) fastening to the arm delimits the two transverse indentations and is housed between the two parallel webs forming the arm pivoting end.
