<p>The storage system for a large number of articles (2) on a conveyor loop (3) comprises a chassis (1A) formed from beams (1B). These beams form a rectangular casing having upper (1C) and lower (1D) parts. An endless belt (3A) carries several article receptacles (3C). Four assemblies (4A) of diverters (4) are located in a horizontal layer. The endless belt passes the diverters so as to constitute a first bundle of strands parallel to the assembly fixed to the chassis upper part and a closer assembly located on the accumulation trolley (8). A second strand bundle is parallel to a second assembly carried by the trolley and an assembly connected to the chassis lower part.</p> |
