摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an electroconductive fiber having low electric resistance on the surface of the fiber and low internal electric resistance between cross sections, and a uniform electroconductive property in the length direction by attaching moisture on the surface of a specific sheath-core type conjugate fiber and subjecting it to a discharging treatment. SOLUTION: This electroconductive fiber is obtained by attaching moisture on the surface of a sheath-core type conjugate fiber constituted with a core component containing an electroconductive material and a fiber-forming polymer completely covering the core component and subjecting the moistened fiber to a discharging treatment. Preferably, the sheath-core type conjugate fiber has a modified cross-section shape of the core component having >=2 sharp tip parts, and at least one of the minimum thickness (Vi) of the sheath component formed by the sharp tip parts and an outer periphery of the sheath component is <=5μm.
