A plasma display device, a gate driving device and a driving method thereof are provided to restrict malfunction of a transistor for reducing the voltage of an electrode in a sustain discharge circuit. A plasma display device includes electrodes forming a discharge cell; a first transistor for changing the voltage of the electrode; an amplifier for outputting high or low level voltage to an output stage in response to a control signal; a first capacitor(Cerc) connected between the output stage of the amplifier and a gate of the first transistor and having a first stage connected to the output stage of the amplifier; and a diode(Df) and an impedance element connected in series between the second stage of the first capacitor and the first stage of the first transistor.
