<p>Disclosed are disinfectants based on long-chain linear or branched alkyldimethylamineoxides with the content of isopropyl alcohol which serves the function of an excipient exhibiting antimicrobial activity. Organic ammonium salt, chlorhexidine and glycerol are further components. Amine oxide, organic ammonium salt and chlorhexidine provide a wide spectrum and stability of antimicrobial activity together with detergent and penetration activity; and glycerol prevents the skin from dehydrating. Isopropyl alcohol gives potential and widens the antimicrobial activity of basic components. This composition can be used for instant disinfecting of hands, skin and other surfaces in the health service, communal hygiene, food-processing industry and agriculture, etc..</p> |
