PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-fusion joint insertingly cast a core having an outer surface positioned facing the inner surface of an insertion pipe, and formed in a shape having extremely high molding yield during molding. SOLUTION: This electro-fusion joint is provided with a heating wire 12 embedded in the vicinity of the inner surface of a pipe joint body 1 formed of thermoplastic resin. By energizing the heating wire 12 with the tip part of a pipe 2 formed of thermoplastic resin being inserted in the pipe joint body 1, the pipe 2 and the pipe joint body 1 are fused together. The pipe joint body 1 has a core 3 having an outer surface positioned opposite to the inner surface of the pipe 2 inserted in the internal part of a pipe insertion part. The core 3 is provided with an inner radially protruding annular lip part 32 situated at the deep part of the inner surface of the core.
