<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove dirt of an optical component by a photocatalytic action and to enhance reliability by preventing reduction of adhesion strength of an adhesive in an optical pickup apparatus having a structure wherein the optical component having a photocatalyst film on the surface thereof is fixed to a holder by using the adhesive. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical pickup apparatus provided with a light source, the optical component 4 having the photocatalyst film 8 in one region of at least one surface thereof and the holder 3 for holding the optical component 4, the optical component 4 is fixed to the holder 3 by using the adhesive 7 applied in a region between the optical component 4 and the holder 3, on which the photocatalytic action of the photocatalyst film 8 generated by a laser beam from the light source and/or an external light does not act. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
