PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal jig which has a highly durable holding member only on the head portion side and can easily be manufactured, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This lure used for fishing, comprising a metal lure main body 1 which has a fish-like shape and has a laterally penetrated hole 4 in a place near to eyes, a wire 2 which is inserted into a place near to the head of the lure main body 1 in the longitudinal direction of the lure main body 1 and penetrates the penetrated hole 4 in the longitudinal direction of the lure main body 1, and a holding member 3 which is connected to the head portion side end of the wire 2 and is projected from the head portion side end of the lure main body 1.
