PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop printing or to notify a user that printing can be performed only a small quantity of ink when an ink vessel is almost empty and only a small quantity of ink remains therein. SOLUTION: This ink vessel comprises a vessel (a pressure vessel) defining an inner chamber 1103, a vessel (an ink tank 1140) which is constituted so as to hold the ink to be supplied by defining a dedicated section 1103a and a non-dedicated section 1103b for the inner chamber 1103 and a pressure sensor 71 which is disposed in the vessel 1102 defining the inner chamber 1103 and provides an output signal indicative of the quantity of the ink to be supplied remaining in the vessel 1102. |
