METHOD OF AUTOMATICALLY SETTING DATABASE AND PAGES OF HOME PORTAL SERVER AND HOME NETWORK SYSTEM USING THE SAME

An automatic DB and page setup method of a home portal server and a home network system applied with the method are provided to automatically configure the pages and the DB of the server without an additional development task. A home network system installs setup information on a home network device fixed when a home gateway is first equipped, in the home gateway in XML(Extensible Markup Language) type(S210). When the home gateway is booted up, the home gateway transmits the setup information to a home portal server, through home network device setup pages provided from the home portal server(S220). The home portal server stores the received setup information in a DB by using business logic(S230).
