<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Darrieus-Savonius type wind power generator equipped with a windmill part having a Darrieus vane and a Savonius vane on a rotary support shaft and a power generator for generating power by rotation of the windmill part, wherein stability with respect to falling down is excellent, installation is facilitated, and the cost can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In this Darrieus-Savonius type wind power generator, a low speed rotation type power generator 9 and a brake device 10 are housed in a base part arranged on the ground or near the ground, a transmission shaft 8 is provided in a pole 6 vertically arranged so as to extend upward from the base part 11, a power generator shaft 16 of the power generator 9 and the transmission shaft 8 are connected through a coupling 12, and on an upper end of the transmission shaft 8, the rotary support shaft 3 of the windmill part 1 is placed on an upper end of a vane part rotary support shaft 7 connected through the coupling 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
