MEMBRANE SEPARATOR FOR ACTIVATED SLUDGE TREATMENT SYSTEM AND ACTIVATED SLUDGE TREATMENT SYSTEM HAVING THE SEPARATOR, AND METHOD FOR INCREASING TREATMENT CAPACITY OF THE SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the construction of a constitution for increasing a capacity for solid-liquid separation of treated sludge in an activated sludge treatment system by simple work when increasing the treatment capacity of the system.

SOLUTION: A membrane module 2 installed outside a biological reaction tank 1 for obtaining treated water by filtering treated sludge after biological reaction treatment in the biological reaction tank 1 with membrane elements is constituted so that only an element housing part 23 housing the membrane elements can be replaced. Two or more kinds of element housing parts 23 having different length are prepared beforehand so that the element housing part 23 can be selectively replaced corresponding to a change in the treatment capacity of the activated sludge treatment system. Thereby the capacity for the solid-liquid separation of the treated sludge in the system can be increased (strengthened) without requiring big repair work and work for newly connecting pipes.
