<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for preparing a piping network diagram which dispense with complicated work of preparing a handwritten made-up drawing after making a survey. <P>SOLUTION: The system for preparing a piping network diagram which prepares the made-up drawing of a piping network in which a plurality of piping members 5 are connected and laid down, is provided with a position coordinate acquiring means 1 which acquires the laid down coordinates of at least a part of the piping members 5, in cooperation with a satellite 6 for positioning; and an input accepting means 2 which accepts the input of attribute information on the piping member for each laid down position coordinate.
