<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network node, a network system and a communication condition adjusting method which effectively utilizes the communication capacity of a network. <P>SOLUTION: The network node 30 comprises a transmission interval changer 31, a transmitter 39, a communication state detector 32 and a communication condition decider 33. The transmission interval changer 31 changes the interval of heartbeat transmission. The heartbeat transmission is performed periodically. The transmitter 39 makes the heartbeat transmission with the heartbeat transmission interval changed by the changer 31 via a LonWorks network 10. The communication state detector 32 detects the bandwidth duty cycle of the LonWorks network 10 after the transmitter 39 performs the heartbeat transmission.
