<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent supplying device of simple constitution by which restenosis can be prevented or reduced. <P>SOLUTION: At the opening tip part 15a of a catheter 15 capable of supplying pressure fluid, a balloon 18 which can be expanded by supply of the pressure fluid and has UV transmission property is arranged. The catheter includes: a balloon catheter 12 having a built-in inner tube 16 for inserting a guide wire 17 therethrough; a stent 13 consisting of an extensible UV-hardening resin tube externally fitted and fixed to the balloon; and a UV emitting diode 14 arranged on the outer surface of the insertion part 16b of the inner tube to be inserted through inside of the balloon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
