<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately determining a motion vector and a macro-block type corresponding to a frame which is transmitted without omission, in a frame rate conversion transcoder. <P>SOLUTION: In the frame rate conversion transcoder, a new motion vector and a new macro-block type are assigned to the macro-block of an inputted frame N in accordance with the macro-block type of an omitted frame N-1 and the macro-block type of the frame N for outputting, thereby determining the motion vector and the macro-block type. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
