FORMING METHOD OF LIGHT-EMITTING LAYER AND ORGANIC LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a light-emitting layer of a uniform thickness in a desired pattern and an organic light-emitting device which can give a high-quality display and have an excellent reliability.

SOLUTION: A blanket provided with a resin film whose surface tension force is 35 dyne/cm or more as a surface layer and an ink for a light-emitting layer which falls in a range of a viscosity (at an ink temperature 23°C) 5 to 200 cP in a shear speed of 100/sec. and a surface tension force 40 dyne/cm or less and a boiling point within the range of 150 to 250°C are used, and the ink is filled up in cells of a photo gravure base, and the blanket receives the ink for the light-emitting layer from the cell and the light-emitting layer is formed after the ink on the blanket is transferred to the light-emitting-layer-forming surface.
