PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid consuming device capable of suppressing entry of air to a liquid which is supplied from a tank to a liquid consuming part.SOLUTION: A device comprises: an ink chamber 111 for storing an ink to be supplied to a recording head; a front wall 101 on which an inlet 112 for injecting a liquid to the ink chamber 111 is formed; and a prism 80 formed on an inner face of the front wall 101 on a lower side of the inlet 112. The prism 80 comprises a first slant 81 for making light which transmits the front wall 101 enter the ink chamber 111 when the slant contacts the ink in the ink chamber 111, and reflecting the light when the slant does not contact the ink in the ink chamber 111, and a second slant 82 for making reflectance from the first slant 81 enter the ink chamber 111 when the slant contacts the ink in the ink chamber 111, and reflecting the reflectance to the front wall 101 when the slant does not contact the ink in the ink chamber 111.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
