CONTENT METADATA EDITOR AND CONTENT METADATA EDITING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content metadata editor and a content metadata editing program which are capable of accurately extracting events without reduction of event extraction precision regardless of increase in number of information pieces to be integrated.

SOLUTION: A content metadata editor 1 edits integrated metadata resulting from integrating section metadata which is preliminarily given to contents and of which the existence section is delimited by a start time and an end time, per event occurring along the elapsed time of the content. The editor includes: a template acquisition means 3 for acquiring a template; a section metadata acquisition means 5 for acquiring section metadata; a template matching means 7 for matching; and an integrated metadata storing means 9 for storing a matching result as integrated metadata.
